The Hardest Part Is Letting Go

Business growth is what we're all striving for.

We want to be able to look back over the months and years and feel really proud about what we've created and how far we've come.

We want to feel like it's all been worth it. The hard decisions & conversations, the big hours & big weeks, the sleepless & restless nights - we want to be able to look back on all of this and feel really proud with what we’ve achieved.

 

But what happens when we're working really hard, doing all the 'things' - and the growth never comes?

When you’ve been at the same point, plateaued in your business for months, years or even decades?

 

That's tough. That's frustrating. That's defeating.

 

It can be downright demoralising.

It’s about focusing on building the right team around you - the Who - and then empowering them to take ownership over their role and their area of the business and letting them figure out the How.

Business growth is a constant process of letting go. 

Letting go of the things that you’re used to doing - by giving them to someone else (the Who) - and allowing you to focus on the bigger and more important things. 

If you’re not constantly looking for ways and areas to let go, by giving them to someone else, you’ll stay stuck right where you are now.

Remember - business growth and business success is more about the Who, not the How.

 

So who is your next Who? Or maybe you’ve already got a Who or a number of Who’s that you’re not empowering enough or allowing them to help you.

Stop hanging on so tightly to the things that aren’t helping you grow.
